We had such a great time in Hawaii, we could not wait to take another trip with the parents! This time we headed across the country to New York to participate in the Ocean to Sound Relay. The race was a 60 mile relay to help raise money for cancer research. Each member of the team ran one leg that was 6-7 miles long. I ran leg number 2 and curt ran leg number 5. We had a really fun time while staying in New York. We stayed with the
Branca's who are friends of my Mom's and I am happy to say they are now friends of ours. They were such fun and nice people and made the trip really enjoyable. In addition to the race, we were also able to go into New York City and also saw the
Mets play a baseball game. It was a really fun trip, a great race and a really good cause.
