School Picture Time!

Joshua brought home his first school pictures today. What a handsome boy I have! I can't believe my little baby is so big. When did he grow up?

Hi from Kloe

A short video of Kloe waving "Hi" She thinks about waving "Bye," but then changes her mind and decides to make a break for it. Unfortunately she can't get her back leg to cooperate so she changes direction hoping that will work. Alas that pesky back leg keeps tripping her up.. right, left, right again.. oh well.. maybe someday.

Teeth and Pony Tails...

Two big milestones for Kloe... I was able to put her hair in a pony tail for church. Of course it helps that our church starts at 8:00 in the morning, so Kloe was really sleepy while I was working on her hair. I tried for a half an hour today to do it, but she kept wiggling too much for me to have any success. Either I'm going to have to get better at styling a moving baby or fancy hair will be for Sunday only!
Kloe finally has two teeth! Two super cute little pearly whites, great for munching graham crackers and for showing off when she smiles.
She has also learned to say Dad and Josh. They are both very happy about that. Today when big brother came home from school, Kloe got all excited and said, "Hi Josh!" it was so cute. She can also say, "done" and can wave Hi and Bye.

Guilty? I think so....

So I was scanning through our digital camera and found a picture of the wall, the carpet, the couch, the piano keys, the piano bench, the wall and the piano leg, the recliner, another picture of the wall and then these two pictures..... I wonder who found the camera?

Kloe is growing

Kloe Is Growing!

Kloe is doing great. She has finally started to get her first tooth. She has also learned to say Mama. And will often combine her two words and say "Hi Mama" I think it is fantastic! Josh and Curt keep trying to get her to say Dada and Josh. She has not started to crawl yet but is really still content just to sit and play.
Our sweet baby girl!

Joshua's Firsts

Joshua has had a big month of "firsts" He started Soccer and Kindergarten.

Joshua's first day of soccer started out well enough. He sat with the other kids for the pre-game team meeting and then excitedly took the field. He soon became distracted and started doing yoga, or maybe setting up for a football scrimmage? Then Josh started getting upset because all of the other kids kept kicking the ball, and he couldn't get it. Feeling dejected, Josh gave up and found a seat in Kloe's stroller and drowned his sorrows in a bottle of water. Life is good again!

The pictures of Joshua's first day of school are mostly of the back of his head, because he was too excited to stand still and have his picture taken. He could not wait to climb up on that big school bus. When he came home, Joshua did have a kiss for his baby sister who was waiting with Mom at the bus stop.

KLOE

Kloe is eight months old. She is growing so fast. She can sit by herself and has learned to hold her own bottle and can also drink from a sippy cup. She can say the word "Hi" and can also wave hello. She is a happy and very content baby. She has not shown any interest in crawling yet. She is happy to sit and play with her toys. She loves her big brother and he is always able to make her laugh. Josh loves to go into her room and wake her up in the morning. I often wake up to the sound of the two of them laughing and find them both playing in her crib. Unlike her big brother who had a full set of teeth by the time he was six months old. Kloe does not have any teeth yet. She is a very good eater though despite the lack of choppers! Also unlike her big brother Kloe is very flexible. She loves to have her feet up in the air. Sometime she sits in her high chair with her leg straight up in the air next to her head. She almost looks like she is raising her hand, but then we notice that it is a foot sticking up! She loves to play with and eat her toes. Sometimes when she is sitting on the floor playing with her toys, she will get tired and lay her head and body down on the floor between her outstretched legs. Like a said, she is very flexible! She is a sweet wonderful baby girl. Our little princess.
